Our Story

Josh has been a deer fanatic since he was two years old. It first started when he saw his dad and grandpa come home with deer after hunting and hearing all the stories about it. Vanessa also has a passion for the great outdoors and grew up fishing with her family. Josh introduced her to hunting and has been hooked ever since. It is something they love to do together and involve their children in.

Prior to opening in 2020, Josh has had 10+ years experience in mounting whitetail deer.

The pursuit of the whitetail deer and the challenge behind it is what drove Josh to try taxidermy out for himself. He originally started by doing his own plaque mounts and European mounts. He eventually gained enough skill to do a shoulder mount of his own. There were and continue to be many hours reading books and watching videos learning how to excel in this passion.

In 2020 he received certification through a taxidermy course and gained greater knowledge of the trade. This hobby turned into a passion as he continued and hopefully some day a fulltime career.

We love hearing all the stories that come along with bringing your trophy back to life. We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality and anatomically correct mount in a timely manner. Our goal is to capture every detail in the mount as the day the customer harvested it.
